Talking of pegs......what do you think of the pegs that came with the Icarus. I'm thinking first purchase (apart from some tenacious tape) should be a selection of stronger pegs. Those D rings definately need something a bit more sturdy, possibly V pegs?
Having said that, the pegs supplied are better quality than those that came with my other tents (a Royal Tarn, a lichfield kiowa and a pop up vango dart)
dcope, what were the large yellow pegs you mention?

Topic: My new Vango Icarus 500
Wish I'd taken some when I pitched ours last week (we have the blue Icarus 500 - no choice in colour as it was the last one in the sale at £100, so I'm not complaining!). All these lovely pictures are just making me all the more excited about our first camp over the early May bank holiday!
