looking at the diagram, althoughthe extension is 260 deep, it sits back covering part of the front of the tent. So it wont add on 260 to the front of the tent , maybe only about 130, as it will clip onto the front pole.
So the sloping in part of the tent will be under the extension .

there is a tent pic thread to upload photos stickied at the top of camping under canvas section I think.or upload into the sunvalley section of the tent reviews

Going on the 30th July to Narbeth for my hubby's 40th with loads of friends so will post pics when I get back.
