Yes completely agree re test pitch to make sure it's not sub-standard. I just have to keep my fingers crossed for sunny weather. A good tip also re SIMs (had to look up what they were) - thank you.

Excellent choice!! and i can safely say that it is more than big enough for your needs, we are also a family of five, and we easily fitted a double airbed 2 singles and a kampa cot style air (which actually seemed wider than a single) the living space is massive!!, now having said this we have only used it once lol. However we had really strong winds!! and she never moved an inch!! and there were lots of tents lost that weekend.

Thanks LostInSpace. I was starting to worry that perhaps it wouldn't be big enough - too late now it's been delivered, we'll have to squeeze in somehow!! But couldn't be as bad as last summer when we holidayed in a 4-man tent - so that's really reassuring to hear your family fits in nicely.
I was hoping to talk my husband into a trial run set-up this weekend but now I've read it's going to chuck it down and ruin everyone's bonfires Fri night, so am not sure.
Looks a loveley tent, well done and a good choice.
Juding by all the threads about buying new tents, come 2011 all we will see on the forum are the lovely pictures of all of our tents being used for the first time, I can't wait...........
Can't decide if I have spelt lovely right, and of course I havent lol
