It looks like I've been caught out too 😔... few small patches, about 10cms of black crosses, which I think is mildew.... have tried a tent cleaner and re-proofed associated but don't think it's worked....
I don't mind the appearance bit, just want to make sure it's dead and finished with, will be extra extra cautious going forward...
I've got a kalahari 8 not canvass. It's still water proof, but it appears to be holding water on some parts of the tent looking wet where the rest of it just runs off without looking wet....
It's on my porch near the seams, with small patches. They were stored together so must be linked....
Is Milton really the best thing to use both inside and out followed by lots of washing and then re-proofing as precaution with fabsil?
Really gutted too as thought I'd been extra careful when I put it away too!!
Milton solution 10% will kill spores and stop it spreading, but won't remove the stain. Vanish stain remover will do that, and then it will need reproofing as the treatment will affect it.
The slight patchiness of the water resistance on your other tent is not related, it just happens with time and use.
