We are very experienced campers. Was looking for a tent for when we wanted a change from our seasonal caravan pitch so not bothered about spending £££'s. Our Hi Gear Enigma tent has proven itself well in all weathers. Well made and sturdy. I do hate these posts that tell people to beware based on next to nothing - comments that can ruin a business. By all means pass on comments based on personal opinion.
3 year old thread, so only fair to post a 3or4yr old pic. Hi Gear Corado 4. Brilliant tent, and served us well. Steel poled, Survived high winds and driving rain. Fond memories of a great tent.
Why they stopped making it, I will never understand. Mesh and plastic on all windows 2 canopys (1 as extra option) and steel poles. Almost perfect polyester tent at a good price. IMO

Same with my niece and her fella, with the Corado 6. They got a bit nippy one night so upgraded to a caravan, but that's no slur on the tent!
To be fair, they only got the Corado as we were looking at one (just as I decided I didn't like sloping fronts, I spotted a Corado on site and it immediately caught my eye).
In the end we had a win on the horses so we upped the ante to a similar design (flat front with open canopy) but polycotton. (Not hi gear). They went with the Corado (6, as the 4 was out of stock) and both they and me were very impressed with it.
