I thought it was ideal for French camping chocgirl due to the large open awning. We find in France that we spend very little time inside.
Let us know what you think when you get a chance to pitch it.
I am still itching to buy one but resisting at the moment.

We have an Outwell Cougar Lake and it is a fantastic tent, only 3 poles and easy to pitch once we looked at Gary's pitching video for this type of tent.....unfortunately it really is a bit too big for us, so we are selling it in case anyone in this thread is interested in a Cougar - used twice and includes carpet for panoramic room and footprint.

oops just reread this and sorry I'm looking for a cedar lake not the cougar lake.
No worries - just thought I'd suggest it - we haven't advertised it yet as part of us doesn't really want it to go, but realistically now we have the Shangri-la we probably won't use it again! :)
Hi, thought I would add to this old thread, with some pics of the Cedar lake. I bought one at the end of last year and only just got round to pitching it.
Well, I am really impressed, its a great tent and little different to most 'tunnel'; tents. with a large integrated front awning, with the bedrooms and living room at the back. Also, surprisingly quick to pitch with just 3 poles.
Great quality and loads of vents/windows. Photographed with then intention of selling it, as I now have too many tents, but not too sure now....
