I like the idea of this tent. I usually camp with my motorbike with a Terra nova voyager. But at 6'3" I am getting a bit old for crawling about in the mud ( like winter camping) I also have a 4 yr old girl so I think this tent should be brilliant not too heavy can pitch on my own and enough space to keep my daughter/s happy and use for a bit of summer camping. I would be interested to hear if there are better more cost effective single person errecting tents that you can stand up in. I have not bought a new tent for around 15 years given the Terra nova being so good cheers Simon

well I've just bought the Klondike and the inner tent from Atwoolls for £536 (I have a friend who got me some discount) and I think its really nice. Was going to go for a 4m canvas bell but the weight difference and pack size swung it in favour of the Klondike (crap name for a tent). Hoping to try it out next weekend and test pitch it in the garden tomorrow.

It will be used to sleep OH and myself or me and DD. Plenty big enough for us. I do agree that saying its a 6 berth is just stupid.
