Just bought this tent today from ALDI, it's big we had to set it up in a friends garden.

Can anyone tell me if the older vis a vis style Aldi tent has good living space and can you stand up in it?

I bought one of the 6 man Adventuridge tents from Aldi last year (see my gallery photos) and I am more than happy with it.

It has seen us through a few trips in all kinds of weather and for value for money, it cant be faulted.

Of course it cant compete against the 'name' brands (we are investing in a Gelert Quebec for next year), but if you are looking for something as a 'stsrter' that will fit the bill at a price that cant be matched for what you are getting, then I suggest that you buy one of these.

I ended up getting made redundant from my work so never got the chance to use my Aldi tent :(

However I am hoping to take the family away during the summer holidays

Sorry to read you were made redundant. The same thing happened to me earlier this year too.

However on a brighter note, I have the same tent (see gallery photos) and have enjoyed using it on a number of trips with no problems, so when you get yourself sorted on the employment side, go and make good use of your tent.
