We bought our diablo 900 in August and only used it once, we have the same problem i thought it was how we put it up, we thought we had pulled the inner tent to far out as the floor on the left hand side of the tent as you walk in had risen ,and the bedroom would not zip up,our neighbours in the tent next to us on holiday had last years diablo 600, with the same problem.it is worrying to see so many people having the same problem,i do think all the great thing you get out of the diablo is worth putttng up with the problem of the bedrooms, but if any one can come up with a solution it would be the perfect tent,

I'm getting the same problem, it seems to me that they have either run out of material or stitched it together to tightly or they've cut the shape wrong or somthing.
It happens at both the left and right hand side bed rooms, the floor kinda raises slightly. The middle bedroom is really baggy and lies on your face if youre at the back, we just pushed a bag up against it to hold it back.
Must admit it didn't really bother me that much at the time, would have prefered it to be perfect tho. I was just a bit worried thet the kids might burst the seems while playing.
Only used the tent once last year but I'm about to use it again in a couple of weeks so we'll see if it bugs me this time.
maybe we should get some more people involved and post this thread to Vango.
It's a great tent all the same.

First time here - we're considering a Diablo 900. If you were in my position, knowing what you know, would you still buy the tent? If not, what other comparable ones are there? (Sewn in groundsheet a must!)
TIA

What about the outwell hartford xl or xxl, we've just bought the xxl can't wait to use it. Got it for £275 from world of camping. Had a look in the diablo 900 and it seemed really dark compared to the xl we looked at.

We've just used our 2006 900 model and it's fabydabydoo. We love it and wouldn't change it for the world. Looking back this thread started in 2005 so I'm not sure why it's going again?
With Diablo 600 and 900 it seems to be a love hate sort of thing to me. The debate will run and run. Just go with what you like.

In my humble opinion, I think the 2005 models must just have a fault - we can't all be completely thick and not be pitching it right, surely?(!) We have tried just about every way possible, using the Vango instructions and pointers from other owners on here. The baggy bedroom and zip problem remains.
We take the view that we only go in the bedroom to sleep and anyway, dh goes on the baggy side!
I would still recommend this tent to anyone - Vango appear to have solved the problem so go ahead and buy you lucky people!
------------- Oooh look - it's trying to brighten up over there!
I have the 2007 diablo 900 xp black/merc model, the first one was sent back with a list of faults as long as your arm. Vang told us we had been sold a shop display tent that was never made for real camping !!!! the second tent is as bad, we have saggy bedrooms, lifting groundsheets, zips that will not fasten and to add insult to injury the dam thing leaks like a sive. I am gutted as i love the tent. Will be contacting Vango in the morning. Any one with similer problem please reply.
