Personally, I love the look of the gelert ones, canvas is not too thick so will pack down quick - quality looked great and they do a ZIG version of a single bedroom semi-touring tent - standing room and a bedroom pod big enough for a king bed.
The Gelert sounds interesting - do you know the rrp?

I think we will be having a look at one of those as an overnight or weekend tent. if they dont take up much room it would be useful to have something like that handy in case its pouring when arriving at a site. We had to pitch (and take down) our diablo 900 in pouring rain a few weeks ago and that was no fun at all. The thought of pitching a quick pop up till the weather is better sounds like an ideal solution.
Hi, just wondering what model the Gelert tent in pic 1474 is, I have just bought a cotton Gelert tent that is identical to this one, but is called the gelert Nanga 4. Where I got it said it was a one off that they had had delivered from Gelert. The only info I could find about this tent on the net was in the Netherlands. It is lovely and airy and not that heavy considering, it is made from fairly heavy weight cotton.
Many thanks.

hi itguy by any chance did you see the 2008 vango killington 600, we had one of the leaky ones and are trying to decide wether to exchange for the new 2008 model or try something else. we liked the style of the killington. they have added some extras to the 2008 model, so can`t make up our minds.
Thanks itguy. Any idea what the pack size would be on that Gelert? Wondering whether it would fit in the back of a Mazda mx5 with room to spare for the rest of the clobber.
all those tents!!!!!!!! drooooool. what a fab job to go round looking at next years tents. like someone else posted we were thinking of doing the same and buying a sale bargain this w.end but now hhhmmmm what to do. do you feed the tent obsession now and kick youself next year or wait till the new displays go up at Mitchells???
