Reviving this old post again
Been 6 months since we purchased the cabanon
And this weekend I was lucky enough to buy a mint condition cotton version absolutely stoked
Love the all weather but this is a step up I hope
Question for the 2 experts lido and Francis if you can help the new biscaya is a 2009 steel pole slight defence to the older one I have door flap folds down and ehu point at the opasit side of the front
Ow the disheartening part sold with a never used canopy
I viewd the tent but never unpacked the canopy and it's a home made one gutted dosnt even fit
I have contacted cabanon in the hope they can suplie a zip and I maybe able to alter what I have
It has a matching steel pole like the tent with adjustable feet the little button click to extend has the correct straps and every thing such a shame gutted will have to use the green canopy from our other biscaya until I can work somthing out wich also means I cant sell the older tent yet :(

Have you bought the one off ebay (from Scotland)?

The cotton one was last manufactured in 2007. If the canopy isn't new and unused and to suit this tent, they owe you a partial refund.

You won't get a matching cotton canopy from Cabanon now but, if you have the pole, you could get TVS in Bolton to make you one up, using your green one as a template. Check the zips are compatible with the cotton version and tell TVS you need the same zip (if it fits).

No not the on from Scotland this one came up last week in Newcastle theu said they have owned it from new purchaed in 2009 I have a pole but now wonder if that is orignal or somthing they have budged to fit it is the same curve and with detachable adjustable feet in the same steel as tent my green one has aloy pole it's the zip I need as I do have somone local who can make a new canopy so worst case I just need a zip and make a template of the orignal
More annoyed at myself for not zipping it on and insisting I see it up no fool like an old fool and now the seller has blocked me but I will have my say to me the canopy is so rare it makes the tent what is is and the value I payed with out this well let's just say not happy :(

I take it ther is no real way to distinguish the year things j have noted
No rear window vent
No mud valance around the front
All peg points (in grey) attach to webbing with buckle all around tent
Door way has split zip with fold down flat
Ehu entry point to the right side opasit door
Also let's call it the front pole wher you tie the webbing has scallops cut from the material so you tie direct to pole
Finally it has a lantern hanging point center front wich none of the others have

My green all weather has rear window
Only 1 side if door floor has a small zip so wont lay flat
Ehu point next to door
Booth have the white webbing for bedroom pods and elastic guy points at front
Mud valance
Lastly a friend has an early model all weather no white webbing for bedrooms plastic clips I believe
No zip at door
And no ehu zip at all
So 3 different models between us
Any idea on identifying the year (just curious )

No way to determine year of individual tents but the cotton Biscaya was only made until 2007 (check out old Cabanon catalogues). They might have bought onr that had been on stock somewhere until 2009, to be fair.
