I forgot to say what a fantastic tent !!!!!!! It felt just like our Sunn camp aps 3006 plus loads of height, space and windows and a fully sewn in ground sheet. i sold the Hartford for this. And have just ordered the canopies. Best tent on the market!!!!!

It seems a long time since the last post on the thread. Have the Montana 6 pole problems been sorted with the 2007 version? I hope so as I've just bought one!
I have an Outwell Montana 4
Bought to allow me to stand up in the tent and sit inside in the rain - replaced Khyam Igloo
No poles broken
Puts up fairly easy even on own.
- use guys to pull up evenly
Very pleased
Niggles:
One of the internal fabric ties has pulled off
there seems to be a gap in the sewing between canvas and plastic groundsheet - will let water in
Much more room than igloo overall BUT two bedroom compartments are separated by zip up separator which has line of fabric when unzipped along bottom of bedroom area - so can't fully open area and use as big bedroom as have the fabric in the way. This means the actual sleeping space is less than small igloo tent and won't fit 2 large camp mats next to each other! - thinking of cutting fabric out!
Canopy is a MUST and excellent
Can leave front door open when raining and not get wet! - see below
Have had out on initial week when bought and for a very wet and windy weekend with my pregnant wife.
Think a bit more room would be good and because of bedroom floor issues now think may have been better with Montana 6!
Left a message about broken poles so I thought it about time I updated this thread.
GREAT tent. Easy to pitch but a little more practice needed to get the striking as simple. 2 of us get it up and down with no problems except in strong winds. Loads of room inside and secure enough to leave our 2 escape artist dogs safely.
Video on the Outwell website a must for repacking.
The only down side is - how do I book a dry day to strike the thing?
