So ok guess its time for a bit of an update on our Airdream... as i said previously after a cheeky email to vango they offered to lend us an Eternity 600 and front canopy it arrived last thursday and like an excited little boy i booked two nights at 3 rivers Clitheroe for the friday and saturday. We arrived and i managed to solo pitch the main tent in under ten minutes, just in time as the heavens opened and blimey did it chuck it down.... the canopy took a little longer to put up partly due to the stinging rain and partly getting the positioning right. the torrential downpour carried on for a good hour or so, but just as the first thoughts of calling the weekend a washout crept into my mind the rain stopped. sat inside the tent listening to the rain bounce off the flysheet was fantastic ive got to say.... not a single leak, the inside of the flysheet has quite a dry waxy appearence to it and this gave me a good sense of confidence in the tent. We woke saturday to a nice sunny morning fantastic, had a cracking day out in Skipton and returned to the tent early evening, had a great night sat in the canopy with a couple of beers watching the world go by Sunday morning and again nice and dry with a little sunshine and a trip to the car boot at clitheroe auction mart. Packing up was fantasticly quick just unscrew the valves and down it went.... fitted back in the bag quite easilly aswell All in all a cracking weekend.... going away with the Eternity on friday so will report back on our holiday when we get back with lots of sunny Airbeam photos Been given the option to buy the tent off Vango, its one they lend out to journalists and use at trade shows, looks in really good condition though so could well be tempted for now though a couple of photos of the Eternity and canopy just before deflating....
