HI there,

We are considering changing our tent to one with a Sewn in Groundsheet and quite the look of the Sunncamp Family Vario 4 or possibly 5.   However, other than on Sunncamp'd website, dont seem able to find anywhere that stocks them, only the larger one the 6 berth.

Also considering the Gelert Lokio 4 or 5, just wish it had a SIG :-)

Any help would be much appreciated.

hi there. Have you tried searching froogle for a family vario 400? The 400 model is the newer one, for example our vario 900 was a vario 9 as an earlier model. I googled for a vario 400 and I can see the problem, in that I found it on a website but it was sold out. We are waiting for a replacement flysheet for our 900 and were told that the shipment was due end of March but we haven't heard anything yet so it's possible that there's a delay, which would affect distribution.

There are a number of retailers that come on this site, so maybe they can offer you an explanation?

i thought sunncamp weren't doing the 400 and 500 this year.Although i may be wrong !last years had the SIG though so you may get one 2nd hand.

how many in your family?. There are us 2 adults and our 5yr old son and we love our 600.

try here too. Seems there are only 2006 models, which might be ok but our 2006 model vario 900 had leak problems, hence waiting for new fly, so I'd be cautious buying one secondhand just in case you have the same problem. I know that it wasn't just ours that had seam leaks, but that's not to say they all have, just needs to be considered.
