I agree with some of the previous comments about commercial holiday parks, that they pack you in like sardines. Well to me, this is never good enough, the vast majority of family / small business type of campsites give you ample space to pitch a Montana 6 plus even a gazebo if you wanted it.
The type of tent that many campsite owners bemoan are those "megadome" types with multiple bedroom pods sticking out all over the place, and therefore understandably place them on two pitches together. The Montana 6, although a very spacious tent is generally considered a "normal" (if there is such a thing) sized family tent and should be fine almost anywhere.
