I saw one of these or similar up last year. They are quite a large tunnel tent with all the sleeping accomodation at one end. this gives loads of living space at the front.
I have to admit we chuckled several times at the poor families forgetfulness about the SIG as they tripped entering and exiting the tent. It took the family a good hour to erect the tent but they did a perfect job.
It is advertised here at £155 with free delivery from a reputable company.
Just seen this this morning and it does feel huge. It has the sleeping areas at the back and lots of living space, I really liked it and think that this may be the tent that we go for!
hi tina, last time we were at camping international at Gillingham they had one up on display.
We have the vario and the invader was very similar, not so many windows and im sure the invader didnt have a SIG it seemed to be zipped in not sewn. I may be wrong though !
Guess where we were at the time that you posted your reply......Camping International!!!!!!!!!!!...LOL
We have had a couple of looks all round it and done some measuring to make sure everything will go in, and it all seems fine. The 2008 model has got an all over bathtub ground sheet that hooks onto the fly sheet about 4 inches from the ground. This ground sheet goes underneath the inner tents as well. It also has an all round mudwall so I don't think draughts would be a problem. The only reservation that my daughter had was the 2000mm HH as opposed to 3000mm HH on the family vario 600. So we wondered if anyone had got wet in one?
------------- Just when I got it all together I forgot where I put it!!
