We have a Hartford XXL for a family of 4 and love the tent and the space.  Sewn in groundsheet, loads of height and lovely and cozy!  You can get smaller versions of the same ie. Hartford L and XL depending on need.

We have had this tent for a few years now with no regrets or touch wood problems.

Steel/alloy poles will stand up to the wind better than fibreglass.  Have you looked at the Outwell Minnesota 4?  Or, if you can still get a 2006 one they did an Outwell Montana 4 last year.  They have steel poles, SIG and full height throughout.  Good luck!
