hi and welcome to this site. the blue face was there as you had no replys, untill you asked why it was ther and it went.i dont think there is much difference between this and last years montana.they may have done something to the porch and added a thermometer (crap one at that)have you had a look on the outwell site?or one of the other internet sites advertised on here? world of camping and outdoor mega store may have more info
Thanks Carol, i had a dig at the outwell site but didn't manage to find information on 2006 models to compare with, i guess just like you've said, there are not much differences between them.

to be honest outwell had some probs with poles and leaky tents last year. iv waited and bought a 2007 nebraska xl .took it away easter and its a fab tent .im glad i waited.i liked the monty 6 but Martin didnt like the porch.
do you think the leaky and pole issue has been sorted for the 2007 montana? i was thinking about getting a second hand one (2006), now i am not too sure..maybe a 2007 one would be better.. decisions decision..
if your gonna buy second hand one then id wait for one to come into the free ads(ask how long they been a member, and if they had any probs with tent, and to see it erected before you buy.i would be worried in case some one had bought a lemon last year and thought they would be able to recoup some of the monies back. or if you do get a new one and you do have any probs you have every right for an exchange. do you live near a Yeomans store? they are very good . know theire stuff ect

Hi zhutek and welcome to UKCS a most addictive website. Yes indeed with the Montana 2007 model you get a thermometer that is not entirely accurate and this year model also comes with velcro guy rope retainers. But the main improvement is in this years poles. Previous models the poles joined with a D Cross Section which did cause problems sometimes taking the poles apart, needing a mallet to seperate. The 2007 model has a Square Cross sections with a rubber insert that eases the taking apart of the poles when you are striking camp.
