looking to but a new tent thinking about a Coleman Cedar Creek or  Outwell Minnesota 4 has anyone out there any experience/comments on either of these ?

Hi, I havnt got any experience of either tent and I doubt anyone will have much experience of the minnasota 4 as it is new this year.

I wanted to rid you of that blue face, I am sure someone will be alnog with some advice some regarding the cerdar creek.

we decided on the cedar creek we had montana 6 last year but found this a bit to heavy .but today we put the cedar creek up took it back down and got it in the bag in just less than 1 hour bearing in mind we did not peg out just checking to make sure everything was ok look and feels quite sturdy and pleased with our choice up to now.

Thanks,I knew before started this thread that there would not be much of a response as both tents are new but thought I'd see if there was anybody that had any experience of any of them before buying.

The Minessota 4 is a replacement for the Montana 4.  The differences are that the new tent hasn't got a side porch and the fabric is rated at 3000HH instead of 5000HH.  (I think the fabric change isn't that relevant).

What it does have is three doors instead of two on the Monty 4.

A double airbed will fit each of the two bedrooms.

It makes a great two person tent.  Easy to pitch and rock steady in the wind.
