Hi folks I'm a little New to camping. Can anybody tell me if the outwell indiana 6 has a detachable ground sheet with the zips or just a normal one. I have been to a yeoman tent display but nobody seems to sell the indy,its only online. The montana looks very nice but with the canopy it works out £100= dearer...is there much difference?? Are there any alternatives as i cannot find many in this class...the vango vail looks nice online but yet to see one setup. I saw a gelert lokon tunnel vario setup but the quality didn't seem the same. any advice welcome.......

The Indiana has a bathtub groundsheet.  It is like a loose fitting one except it is raised at the sides ( just like a bathtub ) and then clips on.  It isn't totally sealed but more effective than just completely loose fitting.

The Montana has a fully sewn-in-groundhseet ( non removeable ).

The bathtub ground sheet is only for the living area - the bedroom area has it sewn in, or at least, if it is detatchable we havent found where from!  We are also new to camping and are very pleased with the cost and size of our Indy 6.  It has also been relatively quick and easy to put up and take down when we have tried it out - first trip away coming up this weekend!

You dont say where you are from - our local camping shop has a huge display of erested tents and very helpful staff, but we are on the south coast, probably no good for you.  I think it helps to see them in the flesh so to speak - we were about to buy a different tent then walked into the Indy 6 and were impressed with the size of the living area - plenty of room for the cold wet windy days that we get whenever we go on holiday!
