Hi all,

looking for a decent showroom that has a load of tents pitched. I've been to camping ecosse in Haddington and we're going to outriggers in Dunfermline on Saturday but does anybody have any suggestions for good places to go look at pitched tents around the central belt of Scotland? We're specifically looking for a coleman cedar creek or a sunncamp pathfinder if anybody has any specific knowledge of having seen one pitched nearby...

re tent shows< we went to outriggers at weekend only about 5 tents at back of shop on display. travel to Forfar Angus and see Kingsmuir Camping Centre dont think they have the tents you refer to but have around 20-25 vangos, outwells , gelert, wynnster. Maybe a bit further for you but well worth a visit to get a lok inside a large number of tents

If you know the shop you intend to visit is a stockist of a particular brand, then you could always call ahead and they might test pitch a specific tent from that manufacturer for you.

If you are heading over the bridge this weekend remember there are roadworks planned so it will not be pleasant. There aren't many alternative routes at the moment either. We bought our tent from Outriggers and they have been very helpful, also they price matched from the internet.

Is Wishaw too far away? If not try Duncans. Travel along A71 from Edinburgh past Newmains until you get to the roundabout at Waterlooville, turn left and Duncans is on the 50yds on right.

Wer'e heading over to parents in the next few weeks. Lanark so will pop over to Wishaw to take a look at duncans. Might give outriggers or ecosse a call and see if they have the tents we're looking for and would put them up for us...

Not too sure it Outriggers have those ones on display, was over this afternoon and they have 3 inside and 5/6 outside.

I would give them a call and see, they are really helpful, spent an age in there today getting all my bits and pieces!
