Hi Johnh605
Just to let you know, my husband took the Galileo back to Go Outdoors last Thursday complete with photograph of pregnant bulge from skylight and was told that it would be returned to the manufacturers to be checked.
Received a phone call last night (Monday) to say that when the salesman showed picture to his manager, the manager immediately said that it was obviously a design fault from a faulty batch (I hope this comment covered the rips in the groundsheet as well), there was no need to send it back to the manufacturers and that if we were happy, we could have a new Galileo. They said that of all the Galileos sold so farfrom their store, this has been the only one to experience this problem and this is why they feel it is from a faulty batch. We have decided to try another tent as apart from the described problems, we really like it and are collecting today.
Needless to say, we will be erecting it in the garden and hosepiping the roof to check the problem doesn't recur. Watch this space ...............!!!
