Looking at buying either the Outwell Oregon 5 or the Outdoor Revolution Scenic VRX500S this weekend. On the Oregon the outer flysheet doesn't look like it pulls down to the groud (seems to be a gap of 4 inches approx). Would this cause the inner bedroom area to feel more draughty and is there more chance of beasties collecting between the inner and outer tent space (my other half would not find that amusing ?

Hi

We have the Scenic 5.0i on show and i have to say its a great tent. Most tents that have two layers erect with the fly first. The Scenic pitches fly first then the inner hangs from the fly. The inner covers the whole size of the tent. This system cuts down on condensation and keeps the tent a bit cooler in the summer and a bit warmer in the winter by making an air gap around the inner.

I hope this helps.

I would recomend you find one on display near to you.

Regards

Gary
