Hi all,

we are looking to buy a Vango colorado 800 dlx and of course are looking for the cheapest price.

Does anyone know where we might be able to beat that price (new not used)

We have now bought the colorado 800 and it is superb!

Used it for the first time 3 weekes ago on a short trip to the edge of the new forest (milford on sea)

Well worth the money and not at all difficult to put up, exactly 1 hour for me and the wife. Also packs away with no problems, no wrestling trying to get it back in the bag as the bag is plenty big enough.

You will not regret your purchase. :-)

did you both order rom summits? just because i am worrying that will end up with the wrong model even tho the picture shows the 2007 model.

just my luck cos i have ordered the large black canopy and windbreak to match

Absolutely gutted!!had an e-mail from summits saying that tent is not in stock but should be in stock within a week so did i still want it??

have said yes as long as they can assure me it will arrive within 14 days to give us time to pitch and waterproof test it.

just hope it arrives quickly as going away 29th july

I ordered mine from www.dpbolvw.net/click-1428744-10475506?url=http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk and it arrived within 3 days of ordering. The 2007 colours are really cool to and my kids especially like the orange bedrooms! Like i sad before very easy to put up and everything is coloured coded.

We did find the Groundsheet a little confusing though to begin with, if you find it the same let me know and i will help you out with it.Might just be that we are not the most logical of thinkers!

The four of us sleep in the bedroom at the back of the tent which sleeps 4 (2x double airbeds fit in side by side a treat too) Then we use one of the other bedrooms for cloths etc and the other for food stuffs and drinks. The tent has windows, skyights,tensioning straps which are ace, pegg out and then pull the tentioners untill the tent it tought, so no sagging.

 As you can tell we love the tent, we spent hours and hours trawling the internet for a suitable tent for our purpose and the Vango Colorado 800 DLX is certainly that.

Am off camping this weekend to Lymington on a sea fishing trip with the lads,thankfull not using my tent lol...im gonna get wet i think!

great info!! will let you know how we go if it ever arrives. so i gather it is not a sig as wasnt sure the descriptions and pics on all the sites are not very good.

did you get matching canopy as was wondering if it can be zipped up cos if not i thik t will be like a wind tunnel

No it is not a SIG, it is what they call a "bath tub inner ground sheet" It is seperate.

It is layed out once the tent is put up and all bedrooms are attched etc. It lays flat but is attatched to toggles on the tent about 10" above floor level, this lips up on all sides of the groundsheet thus giving it a "bath tub" effect.

Not sure what you mean by a canopy? sorry.
