Hi, I will be buying one of these tents but which one? is it advisable to have the air vents? does it get very hot in a tent in the summer?

as you can tell im new to this camping game.

If you will be mostly using it in the UK, then the standard 3 Second tent will be your best bet,if planning on going abroad to warmer climes, then I'd say go for the 3 Second Air (though I bet you'll be closing those vents in the middle of the night when it can get a bit nippy!)

I got the 3 Second Air. I used it a few weeks ago in the UK and we didn't think it was cold at all. It is obviously a small tent and these types of tent often suffer condensation problems. I got the AIR version in order to reduce condensation (Damp sleeping bags etc).

You can obviously close the vents if you think it is too cold.

For a couple of pounds extra, I'd certainly recommend it. Great tent for 1/2 nights!

 We`ve not noticed a problem with ours. The standard 3 second tent still has pretty good ventilation.
