We are new to it all and we bought the halfords family deluxe package, we put it up in the garden and took it straight back. we then went to www.winfieldsmegastore.co.uk and bought a much better tent. ok so we have ad to buy the beds and the lights extra but it was worth it. the halfords one had a tear in it and the stitching all over left a lot to be desired. would have loved to have found out if it was waterproof. if any one as one let us know !!!

We used the Halfords Deluxe family tent on the weekend of 26th-27th of May and it faird up to the rainy weather fairly well. The only leaks we had I contributed to the few straggling bits of cotton acting as a wick to draw the water through.

We'll be using it again near the end of June, by which time I'll have had a little more practice erecting it.
