Undercanvas - i agree - we dont want to ruin it for the kids by arguing when we're only putting a tent up!  I will also show this to my husband....

He spoke to friend earlier and he is going to make it tomorrow to lend a hand or 12, but i will be there, with the beer flowing....(and the wine for me)

just practise a few tmes, im sure you will be fine, it took practise for all of us... no one is perfect and no one gets it rght first time.

blimy we went to Cornwall for first time with a second hand TT it rained eldest got soaked and it was right across the bed she was sharing with her sister and brother, we all ended up making do that night all 5 of us squashed into a double bed, thats not really a double... you live and learn the golden rule is to have fun i know soetimes thats easier said than done sometimes, but just make do with what yu have, learn frm your mistakes cos you will make them like we all have..... it enhances your next trip lol just chill......

This tent looks very similar to theWynnster Pegasus(I think it may be an updated version). If it is you will need two people to put it up.If its the same setup as the pegasus 4 or 6 the instructoins will tell you to put all the poles in before erection, this experience has taught me will make it very difficult to erect. There are a number of posts with advice about the Pegasus on this site they will give some helpful tips in regard to its erection.

I've got the Pegasus 6.  I'd say put the 3 main poles that go across the dome in first.   tuck one end of each into the rings.  One person go inside and lift the middle whilst the other tucks the other end of the poles into the rings.  Then do the bedroom poles and the canopy bit.    Also if it has a ground sheet that goes all throught the tent under the bedroom pods, remember to put this in before you put the bedrooms in (forgotton that before) .  My Pegasus was quite difficult the 1st time but much easier the 2nd.

The instructions on my wynnsters have been very good, detailed ones, attached to inside the bag the tent comes in.  Make sure you read them through a couple of times and know which bits they're talking about.  Once you've followed them and got the tent up in the garden you can think ahha, that wasn't so bad but if we do this like that it would be easier.
