Do you mean the ones on the floor?

Think they are to do with ventilation?

( My Mum thought they were midnight peeing pockets!! )

I always open them when packing away as the air goes out of the tent easier and makes folding and getting in the bag easy

Coleman Ventilation Systems

The control of the air flow is the key to avoiding too much heat or condensation inside the tent.

To create a comfortable environment inside your tent, whatever the weather, Coleman designers have developed two unique ventilation systems only available on Exponent tents: AirFlo System for family tents and VariFlo for adventure tents.

The Airflo System allows air to enter the tent at the bottom of the flysheet through the fully adjustable rainflaps and leaves through the wide openings in the top or side panels of the tent.
