we have a khyam with the quick erect system, it is absolutely great to put up.  It pitches outer first, therefore if it is raining the bedrooms do not get wet!!.  Not sure if they do any khyam QE tents with 3 bedrooms as we only required 2 but we did want a bigger living area with good height.  I would go for outer first if possible.

Thanks Staffylas i am going to have a browse at the Khyam range i like the idea of outer first, the more i look at specs on tents the more things you become aware of my latest ponder is whether to have a non sewn in grown sheet for ease cleaning and putting away i think i am being to fussy now.  Still like the Vango but will be swayed so i am going to have a browse at the Khyam.  Does anyone else have any fews on the Vango pro and cons would be interested to hear.

Don't know whether this message is too late. I have a Vango Aspen 700 dlx 2006 model. It has stood up to some pretty violent storms over the past year or so but remains intact. I love this tent, its spacious ,light and airy and easy to assemble and put away, at least after the first couple of trips. I have been to lots of shows and have yet to find a tent I find more practical and attractive. One of its best features has to be the height of the inner particularly in the bedrooms. We have just purhased a sun canopy which fixes to the outer tunnel extending the tent by 2.8 metres.We have 3 children aged 13 ,12 and 9. We tend to use the wardrobe section of the tent as a clothing and storage facility and the back section of this room curtained off as a toilet area. In the living area we have an inflatable bed /settee which converts to a high rise single for our son to sleep on at night. I have to say that the new 2007 model lacks some of the better features of the 2006 model .
