The Royal Biarritz seems like a good tent, I was in one the other day. If you search on the site here you will find plenty of info on what you need and about your tent. Welcome and good luck!

we used to have one, was called the royal sassari back then 2 years ago lol, its  a great tent with plenty of room for even a family of 6, we had our airbeds in there as well as a little wardrobe etc, and the porch is plenty big enough for cooking in as well as taking off wet clothing.

the best way we found to pitch the tent is to lay the inner down first then peg out the ends by the bedroom pods then  thread all the poles through and erect the 2 big crossover poles first that make the living area then the bed pods, then you can adjust the tent before you peg out properly, the put the fly sheet over connect to the poles then peg out and put tte poles into the porch then correct any pegging points and then put the guys out, with me and hubby it took us 20 mins on a good day.

yep, we have one great tent ADVICE insert two dome poles first THEN!!!! get someone to go inside the tent and push these poles up so that person outside can locate the pins into rong and pin system.   Dont try to push the two dome poles from the outside < Nightmare!!  remmber get one person in the tent to push the poles up.  Once the two domw poles are in its easy to thread the other poles in from outside

enjoy it !!

Hi,

Just bought the same tent and used it for the first time last week,

took 25 mins to erect using to adults and a dog!!! (should of been 20mins but dog keeps pinching things)lol

great size living area two good size bedrooms and a great porch area for cooking.

we had two days of thurnder and lightening and rain you would not belive.

tent performed great.

overall we are well pleased with our new purchase and cant wait for our next adventure.

we just bought one and went for a trial run in the garden. took us an hour and a half to put it up but sure it will be a lot faster next time now that we know what we are doing!

had a major problem getting the four thin small poles in the vents in the bedrooms - managed to break one pole by snapping the metal sleeve! any tips on making that an easier job?
