We got a replacement for our leaking killington on Friday. We took the Breckenridge 400 , excellent tent we loved it.  Went away on Friday night, pitched no probs and it was great, then on Saturday it started to rain, not hevy at first then when it did we got a drip above the window along the seam.  Ok we thought we will stick some fabisil on that later but as the rain got worse so did the drip.  Another leak then started from the roof seams, middle and left side and we still thought we can fix this but by this morning the drips became far heavier and at the back where the mesh ventilation is it was coming into the inner tents.  When we took out the inners to pack up we could see clearly water coming down the back wall. We have come home and put tent up in the back garden  to dry out.  Can we have some opinions on this please . Are we just unlucky here having purchased 2 wet tents  or is Vango quality going downhill?  Has anyone else had a problem with the Breckenridge or have we just got a faulty one?  Very annoyed as we love the design of the tent.

Pirate66 & wet family again!

Fabsil won`t work on leaking seams. You need to use seam sealent, painted on the inside of the seam when the tent is dry and then allowed to dry for 24 hours.

You`re absolutely sure it wasn`t condensation, btw? It can run down the inside of the tent to seam points like toggles and then drip off, or trickle down the inside of flysheets.

Hi Val

Thanks for your reply, no i'm sure it wasn't condensation its actually gathering at the seam then coming through and running down the inside wall.  Checked it agin just now and there is puddles forming on the sig.  All the anchour points for the inners for the inners are wet.  Got any advice? should I phone Vango do you think?  Wish it was just conensation but the drips stop when the rain stops.  Love the design though.

Spoke to Vango yesterday and outdoor world,  got our leaking tent replaced today no problem.  Well done to outdoor world for their customer service which was fantastic,  no argument and sent a replacement tent straight away.. We are glad we bought our tent from them.

Pirate I think you were unlucky with your brekenridge mine has been fine and was even put up badley for the first time in anger and high winds after breaking three poles on the lockon.
Im sure that the new one will be fine if your worried do your seams before you get rained on...lol

Good luck
