Hi

I have been looking at the Montana 6 and before I make my final decision (after weeks of looking!) I would like to see one in the flesh. Does anyone know where there is one in display in Southampton/Portsmouth/Chichester/Wwinchester/New Forest or anywhere with an hour of Fareham? Many thanks Ness.

Give them a call, I think they display all the tents they stock.  They are at Frensham near Farnham in Surrey.  And if you fancy a stroll while you are up there Frensham big pond is a nice walk or the Alice Holt forest. 

We've just ordered ours - unfortunately you've just missed one on display at a camping show in E Sussex (Lewes) where we saw one pitched (and bought one - looks fab!)

Would it be considered rude to use your local campsite as a tent and camping exhibition? Just have a wander around the site until you found a tent that you like and then go speak to the owner

And if one of your fellow campers came up and started asking questions about your tent or camping equipment would you be helpful and show them around?   

Hi there!  We've just bought a Montana 6 ourselves!  You can see one up at D W Camping Ltd, Bognor Road, Merston, Nr Chichester, PO20 6EG.  They are a separate camping supplier in a Garden Centre on the main Bognor Road.  Good luck!  Bev

I have just phoned DW Camping and am off there tomorrow as its only about half an hour from where I live. They have a Montana 6 and a Sun Valley 8 which I like but a little over my price range but it will be good to see it. The man I spoke to was very helpful on the phone and said they have lots of tents on display so thanks very much for the info, I really appreciate it. Ness

Not sure if this is helpful but dont think this is too far for you..Its in Dorset just the other side of the New Forest past ringwood towards verwood.  They are based on a caravan and camping site called Oak Dene.  The have a massive amount of tents on display...including the Montana 6 and the the Vermont.

Well we have bought a Montana 6 ! We went to see one on display at DW Camping and came home and looked for one on the internet. We bought it from Cross Camping and Leisure with a free Outwell Windbreak so am pleased at last after weeks of looking!

DW Camping were the same price but didnt offer a free windbreak so that was the only reason I didnt get it from there. Cant wait to get the tent now and put it up!
