so after deciding that a vango killington was/is perfect for our needs, it has everything we want at a price we like, we find out that it has had a total recall and now wont be available until the beginning of july maybe later, we are dissappointed because as i say its perfect,

i then find the kirkwood, it too seems to be just as pefect for us (am i right in thinking its the killington by a different name)

so my thoughts are that if the killington is unavailable then we should get the kirkwood, does this seem like a good idea, or should we just wait for the new batch of killingtons?

Oh dear! Have you spoken to the retailer?

I also have a Kirkwood. Have not used it or even taken out of its bag since we bought it (late March). Plan to use it for a week this coming Tuesday. How many people here have had problems with theirs?

We bought the Kirkwood 900, and ours has been perfect..... no problems at all.

Have to say though you'll be very lucky to find any Kirkwoods left. They were the pre-release version of the Killington so there was just that first initial batch of them and when they've gone they've gone...... and I think they went.

The only difference between the pre-release Kirkwood and the mass produced Killington that followed, is that they added a rear door to the Killington, accessed through the middle bedroom pod.
