As previously posted I thought of getting a Gelert Lokon vario 5, but comments from others regarding ability to put up on own when only me and the kids has made me reconsider that and I've been back to my local shop today and had another look at a LKV 6, can't see me getting this thing up on my own with son of 8. BUT.... whilst there saw an Outwell Colorado 5 - very nice and a Royal Bordeaux 4 also very nice..... looked like the poles went into the top material and then got put up, sort of like an old frame tent, would that be right? Now think they might be easier on my own, (hubby just thinks I'm mad to think of going on my own with the kids, but then he doesn't have the 6 weeks summer holidays with them.) Any one got any thoughts. Sorry to be a pain.
does anyone know of anywhere with LOTS of tents I could go an look at within 50 miles or so of Liverpool. Thanks Liz

We have a Colorado. It was discontinued but the brought back "by popular demand" according to one or two dealers. It takes two of us to put up, as you need one person on each side to pull it upright.
Lots of tents - we go to Caseys, Chester - set in the nicest Garden Centre ever (lovely cafe and play area,) or Camperlands, Outdoor Megastore which is ace for all the bits.

Wondering if you got the colorado 5? If yes, how is it? Need to get a tent by next weekend and the more I read, the more confused I become. This Outwell is fairly near the top of my list. Waiting with fingers crossed.
