Hi there - been a while since i've been here. Mainly because we haven't had a bleedin' tent since last September when a foul water flood took both ours out. Anyway, after months of wrangling with our insurance company, I've given up and accepted an Aztec Falcon 6, Aztec sun canopy and two Aztec windbreaks to replace our large dome tent and drive away awning (a German tunnel-bus-tent to attach to our Bongo). I hear that these tents are good quality and easy to erect etc - I'm hoping to use the sun canopy & windbreaks to create a sort of kid&dogproof corridor between the Bongo & the tent.... anyone think I'm bonkers or actually quite inventive?
Can't wait to get back out there again- had a trial run in someone else's tent last weekend in Kielder - really got us excited again (apart from the midges which made a meal of Nidge!!)
So.... glad you're all still here (plus loads of new people too) and I'm hopeful of some feedback on my idea..... btw...with inner pitching first, what happens when it's raining/snowing/etc???
