2,000HH is fine, belive me. It`s not so long ago that 1500HH was the norm and 2,000HH was really exceptional.
Anyway, most leaks come though the seams rather than the tent fabric. (Assuming a minimum of 1500HH of course!) Anywhere that there`s a toggle or strap point pulling down on a seam is a weak point as the stitching can gape very slightly. A dab of seam sealant usually sorts things out.
One really strong point of the Oregon is the simple design...not too many seams, thus fewer weak areas. Some more elaborate tents with design features that require many more seams also leak more, despite higher HH rating. Of course, this doesn`t apply to the Colorado, which is also a simple design.
My Oregon 600 (2006 version) has paler roof panels in the living area ceiling, btw. This makes it feel very light and airey. It doesn`t leak either, btw, despite being out in some pretty poor weather.
