hi all,new to the site and new to camping...........i have just bought a coleman wyomin 6 berth and some other gear stove,240v converter, chairs, air beds, heater, refridgeration unit etc, etc, etc
i first put my tent up in the back garden took me about an hour as instructions i didn't think were that good...............now knowing virtually nothing about tents apart from the ones you used to camp out in as kids..........this coleman i bought has a seperate ground sheet,is this a good thing or a bad thing? as when im stood in the tent i can see daylight under the bottom of the tent especially where the 2 bedrooms are,i can see a gap of about 3 or 4 inch, yes its well away from the inner bedroom but surely wind and rain can blow underneath.........are most tents simular to this?????????? i would have thought a sewn in ground sheet would be much better or do these have down sides??
be gratefull for any info
cheers john
