HI. FIRST TIMER ON THIS SITE.STARTED CAMPING LAST SEASON. JUST ME AND MY THREE YEAR OLD LITTLE GIRL. WE LOVE IT. I HAVE A VANGO 500 TENT WHICH IS GREAT AND I CAN PUT IT UP ON MY OWN. I WOULD LIKE TO TREAT MYSELF TO SOMETHING SIMILAR BUT BETTER QUALITY. I'VE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE VRX SCENIC 5.0i IVE SEEN ON THIS SITE.ONE OF THE REVEIWS SAYS IT NEEDS TWO TO PUT UP. HAVING SEEN FOUR ADULTS STRUGGLE TO PUT UP THE SAME TENT AS I PUT UP ON MY OWN WONDERED IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAD TRIED TO PUT IT UP ON THERE OWN. OR DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A SIMILAR ONE.

ANY OTHER LONE MUMS THAT CAMP IN THE DERBYSHIRE AREA. LOVE TO HEAR OF ANY MEETS IN THIS AREA

Bit out of touch with tents (only look when buying a new one) but keep an eye on the meets section - solo and single parent meets - there is one this weekend in fact, IIRC.

I don't have that tent so I can't say for sure, but I have the Outwell Oregon 5 which a 3 pole tunnel tent and I can get it up on my own. Weird, if I have help it seems like it would be impossible to do on my own. But if I have to I can.

I am not a single parent, but I camp as one because my other half thinks camping makes me certifiably insane I am in cheshire

well. thats it. got said tent on ebay new for £77. bargain. if anyone see's me tangled up in the thing in a field in buxton (newhaven site). PLEEEEEEEEEASE HELP !!!!!!

Hi Angela, I see you have a Vango 500, is that the V500? I am looking to buy a tent for myself and my two children and have been looking for one that I could put up by myself also. Just wondered why you wanted to change, and what your views on the 500 were as it is one I have considered. Do you think spacewise it would take 3 airbeds in the bedroom ?

THE VANGO EASILY TAKES TWO DOUBLE AIR BEDS WITH ROOM FOR YOUR BAGS AND STUFF.I LOVE THIS TENT BUT WANTED TO UPGRADE TO A SEWN IN GROUND SHEET AND STEEL POLES. MY MATES JUST GOT AN OUTWELL AND I'M JEALOUS TO DEATH!!!!!!!!!!! BUT THEN SHE'S ALSO GOT A HUSBAND TO HELP HER PUT IT UP. MY LITTLE ONE IS ONLY THREE SO DOESN'T HELP AT ALL AND I MANAGE EASILY. WOULD PROBABLY MAKE A GOOD YOU.VE BEEN FRAMED VIDEO WHEN ITS WINDY THOUGH. I'D GO FOR IT. REALLY GOOD VALUE AS WELL. I'M SAVING MINE INCASE I CAN'T GET THE NEW ONE UP.

If you got the VRX Scenic 5.0i new for just £77 it sounds like you got a serious bargain, ANGELAS! Did you buy from a private seller?

It looks a nice tent. I haven't seen one in the flesh, so will be interested to hear how you get on with it.
