Hope you can help.... need some advice.... looking to buy a tent for my family of 4. Ideally we would like a tent with a large enough porch to cook in, (not a tunnel tent), and a back door! 2 pods are good.
Have looked at Outwell Hartford XL (but porch, pods look small) and Outwell Georgia which seems huge. We do like the dome tents.
Anyone out there know what we need?
Thanks

We are a family of 4 but needed a 3 bedroom tent to split up 2 growing kids, boy and girl.
We picked a Vango Diabolo and it is Fantastic! Easy enough to pitch (if there are 2 of you), bags of room inside, large porch area for boots and wet stuff and a host of other features I'm sure you can read about on their website.
It has stood up to howling gales and pelting rain this Spring and done us proud.
A smaller version with 2 pods is available in the same or similar model I believe.
The Khyam Breckenridge would tick all your boxes and then some. We used to have this tent. 3 pods, a huge living area and a long porch that we used to cook in. One of the pods was also a door though we never used it as such.
Incidentally you may have had more luck with replies if you'd posted in the 'tents/camping under canvas' but I'm sure this post will get moved there shortly. Good luck!
