Posted this in the wrong section oops.

Hello all, I wonder if anyone else has had this problem with their tent, I own a Coleman Sahara, great tent , love it. Was away a few weekends ago camping in perfect weather, however I noted that with even a slight breeze the sound of the fabric rubbing on the frame poles was quite annoying. Did not mater what I did with the tension the noises remained..

 

Has anyone else noted this problem before, would be interested in anyones quick fixes to solve this .  I know sounds daft but !

Hello astroscot2.All tents have their own 'noises' and I think that yours must be 'normal' for your tent.Basically, you have your tent fabric tight against your poles, so there must be some friction and noise emitting from this. My advice would be to have another glass of wine or beer and just don't worry about it! Just enjoy your tent and get used to its sounds!

Alternative suggestion is to get a cotton canvas frame tent; they don't make any noise at all!

Unles you have a steal frame under the camvase & the wind is just about to swamp Boscastle then it'll creak & groun witth the best of them
