What is the vango diablo 900 XP like. We are swapping it from a 800 dlx colorado, due to the sown in ground sheet. Cheers

If you search for Diablo you'll find lots of feedback from those who have this tent.

The downsides of the tent are it's footprint - so the size of pitch you need to get it on - there is feedback from owners that it is getting increasingly difficult to get these big spread dome tents on sites.

You'll need somewhere to dry the entire inner of it if you bring it home wet.

You'll need at least two of you to pitch it, it's not a tent you can pitch alone.

I think the "saggy pod" syndrome has been solved but do bear in mind that it's quite difficult to stand the in bedrooms of these dome tents and mainly adults have to sleep side by side so getting out in the night can be tricky!

It is very similar to the 600 (which we have) and I think the only difference is that the 900 has the extra bedroom and maybe slightly larger living area. A fantastic tent.

Thanx for your help and advice.  We are phoning the campsite we have booked with for this summer holiday to see if they will take the Diablo 900 b4 we buy it!!  Cheers, love the site will use it again.

Some interesting points raised by Pigletand Tigger, we have this tent and we find we can put the air bed in the pod in either direction and have room to stand, the saggy bedroom has been sorted, can always dress in the dance hall bit in the centre,.

OH and myself can pitch this tent without falling out, MAJOR achievment!

Love this tent, may only be able to pitch it in the garden!! LOL Have not took it to a proper site yet, but am always hopefully as we are not too fussy?

We upgraded recently from the 2006 model (poor repair from Vango so we got the new model free!) and the difference is huge. The saggy bedrooms have gone, and the pods are also bigger. We have used the XP for two weeks so far and have been really pleased with it. It seems to go up easier than the previous model too. Excellent tent - would recommend it to anyone.

Dont know what your issue was with the Colorado SIG but the Diablo is also an inner pitch first with SIG if this is an issue.
