Hi,

I am looking into getting a Royal Avignon tent but not sure how reliable or sturdy they are and seen some comments on here that concern me has anyone any knowledge on the Avignon to help me make a decision?

Also why are there different models is it just to do with the side storage/toilet area? I would like that feature so believe I would need the SG model. The following are the models I have seen available and I am a little confused, please help.

ROYAL AVIGNON 6 DL,   ROYAL AVIGNON PLUS,   ROYAL AVIGNON SG,

THANKYOU.

Hi

Another newbie here - we have the Avignon 6+ (bought 2 years ago) which is just the basic tunnel tent with no side storage.  We have taken it to France for 2 weeks summer holiday each year, once to Vendee (lovely weather - no rain) and last year to the Somme (very very wet, torrential rain everyday) with no leaks at all.  OH is a little concerned with how it would stand up to v. windy conditions but luckily have not had to deal with those yet.  Can't fault the tent itself at all, our family of 5 (kids 10, 13 & 15) all found plenty of room inside to eat, and relax (even all day last year if it didn't stop raining!) without stepping on each other - so suits us very well.

Hopefully someone else can give you more info - but we are very happy with ours.

Thanks for the info, i looked at tbe Avignon and Bordeau and the only difference I can see is that one of the bedrooms on the avignon is bigger, do you know of any other differences?
