Does anyone have an opinion on whether Khyam or Vango for 2 newbies? It'll either be the Khyam Sherpa or Calgary or Vango Beta and will be mainly for festivals/weekends.

Can only comment on Vango as I have used them for years and never been disappointed.I own two at the moment,one is the sigma 300+ which my son and i use for weekend walking breaks and its a great little tent.Hope this helps...regards

I would go for the Khyam Sherpa....why ?

because its ( outer ) flysheet pitching first ( Calgary is inner first )

I like the porch windows.

High level of waterproofing.

Access to the tent can be made from either the front entrance or either of the two side doors, depending on your climatic conditions.

Quick clip Pole (QCP) easy erection with colour coded poles & sleeves.
