We have the outwell vermont L, Its the first tent we have insured(due to the Cost).

We have insured through the Camping and caravan club, this is only £60 per year and includes upto £1000 of contents, Hope this helps.

We are covered for up to £2500 of camping gear on our house and contents policy anyway so don't need an extra policy!

I checked with them when renewing (switched companies) recently and I specifically asked them about adding the camping gear onto the policy, but was informed there was no need as we were covered under the standard policy, both when its stored at home or when we are on holiday.
