We really like everything about the Nebraska XXL except the reported leaks!! I was wondering if the Aztec Falcon 12 is a comparable alterntive in terms of size, quality and layout. I appreciate this is pitched inner first, but seems our two week holiday is fast approaching and its the only one we will have this year I really do not want to take the risk of leaks!!

I would appreciate your comments, as I am now running out of ideas. OH will not consider Norfolk Lake due to size of 3rd bedroom and if I don't get sorted soon he will insist we go in our old one which let us down badly last bank holiday.

Thank you in advance.

hi..
A falcon 12 is a nice tent and is a lovelly size and layout... the one thing i will say is if your looking at both you will notice the price difference at first.. the falcon 12 is a lot heavier .. But to that point its steal poles are actually a higher gauge to the outwells and there reinforsed so its a steardy as a house if its blowing a gale.. in terms of pitching i would say they will both take around the same time to get everything sorted as belive it or not the falcon range is so simple and easy to erect as its an inner tent so its not as heavy as liffting the hole tent .. so once its all up all you haft to do is throw the fysheet over and everything is set up inside as soon as you open the porch door. Were as the outwell you will have to clip in the inners and all that .. but either one you go for i am sure you will be happy with ... but value for money and spec i would go for the falcon as you can get the aztec cannopy to go on the front also for it and i am sure they will release carpet for them next year to compete with others..
hope this lonh essay helped lol
many thanks
Tom
