Has anyone found a good deal on a Coleman Cedar Creek - other than the Millets £125 offer referred to in previous threads. This offer seems to have expired now unfortunately. The cheapest I have found so far is £189 on World of Camping, which seems good. I don't want to buy if there is a better deal.

I was in a Millets store just last week and checked their catalogue; the Cedar Creek was still in there at £125 and I confirmed it with the manager. This offer has never been available online, by the way.
The cheapest is gooutdoors.co.uk at 99.99 it was a steal!!!! They have warehouses around the country and I purchased mine yesterday be quick though cos they are sold out in Loughborough now mine was the last one in their store!
If anyone is after a Cedar Creek, try Field and Trek, I bought one online yesterday and it was delivered today. Price was £90 but I had a code (MVC10) which gives another 10% off, bringing the price to £81, delivery was £5.95 for next day or £3.95 for standard delivery. I used the next day delivery, I was also able to use quidco.com and will get another 6% cash back, so the total price including next day delivery is £81.74 - not a bad buy!

Just received my Cedar Creek from Field and Trek, good service and fantastic value. Pitched the tent in the garden with my teenage son helping me, it's really good but i'm not sure if I've got the tension right. The poles want to lift off the ground, I know some people mentioned cutting down the poles, I'd rather not if there is a more simple explanation.
I followed the instructions and ended up with drumskin tight tent that would not sit properly. I haven't cut the poles but I haven't discounted it yet. Might be a batch problem hence cheap sell off.

Did that John, but there was no way it was going to the top. It's not just the inside pole that's "too long" either. No tent should be stretched as tight as mine was. With nylon especially it knackers the seams.
