Hi cpvh
We have a 440. Instructions say that after putting awning pole up you should then go in and put other end up. We have found it best to put the centre pole up then the end one, followed by the one that forms the front. The zipping to the gs was a pain at first, but after a few tries is no problem now. Pegging the tent down is no problem, but found it best to use plastic pegs as the metal ones supplied are u/s. We use Delta pegs for the straps at the front. Also just loosely peg the g/s before puting the poles up, then peg it properly after.
