Does anyone have the Vango Diablo 900 XP 2007 model? We've just come back from our first week camping in this tent and despite continuous rain - it didn't leak.
However, the web page for the company I bought it from says the XP 2007 porch has a skylight - the tent we have doesn't. Before I rail road the company in question for selling us the wrong model, can anyone tell me if their diablo 900 XP 2007 has a porch skylight? (I assume by this they mean directly overhead and not on the door sides). It would also be useful to know if their main porch door just unzips or whether it props up on poles as some pictures suggest.
Many thanks

I have the new one, and last years model. I thought immediately - "of course it has", but maybe I am wrong - last years certainly did. I am thinking really hard now - putting the canopy on etc - I don't think it has. No - I am pretty sure it doesn't.
------------- Hotels Suck. Villas are great but I can't take my Cadac on the plane....
i have one and im sure it dont have a skylight in the porch, and yes the front door only zips up, if you want MORE space over your head at the front,, how about a canopy,
i havent put mine up yet, but did go to visit the one at the shop a few times, so im sure it dont have a skylight.
how long did it take you to pitch it?????

Thanks for your help, I've still awaiting official confirmation from Vango.
In reply to djhaydn - it took two of us 1 1/2 hours to pitch, though I suspect we will get quicker each time. The trickiest thing for us was getting the dome up, worth watching the pitching video several hundred times before you try to pitch it.
All I can say is we spent our first week camping in the wettest week in history, for most of the week the tent was surrounded by at least an inch of water (walking on the SIG felt like walking on a water bed) and we only had one slight 'leak', the corner of one of the bedroom pods leaked a very small amount near the seam, but it was submerged in water at the time.
We are delighted with it! It's huge and was fantastic for our toddler to run around in. My only 'regret' is that it's not a 'weekend ' tent as it does take some pitching.
