Hi Izsak & welcome to the forum

I don't know anything about Peaktop tents, but now I've bumped your post up to the top again, hopefully someone will be able to help you later today.

hi i purchased this tent for summer use its good i was in a farm field which was windy did not fall down, it is big says it sleeps 6-8 people more like four adults mybe more with small children you should practice erecting several times it gets easier better than a tunnel tent i admit the instructions are limited but in hot weather good all round tent mybe i was fortunate my tent was intacted not damaged and i put at night a folding table two folding chairs a double rubber air mattress plus all equipment in the tent quite warm at night did not leak and kept creepy crawlies out has a enclosed base and misquito nets around the doors height good for overall standing overall this cheap tent is good for summer camping but i would not use in autumn or bad weather any advise for a frame tent for 4-6 people i was thinking of a canvas tent mybe cabanon!!!17

Hi Haggis & welcome to the forum 17

Have a look on ebay for a canvas frame tent. Not so many on there now, but still a few bargains to be had.

It really doesn't matter if you buy a frame tent which is ten years old or more, as canvas tents can last up to 30 years. A frame tent is certainly the right way to go for all year round camping - we always feel safe & secure in ours even in high winds and heavy rain. Our Cabanon Elody has been through two thunder storms without any leaks or problems. Go for it Haggis 17
