Any one had one of these? seen it on the web for £151, seems too good to be true! Of to brighouse bay shortly and need a new tent

I have a 600 dlx 06 model (is the same, except the rear pod on the 800 sleeps 4 instead of 2) and I think it's excellent (not used it yet though). Principally because a) it's a Vango and b) it only cost £125 brand new. Took a while to erect in the garden so I expect some practice will help. That looks like a good price you have there!

The '07 version can be had for under £200 delivered. I have one and there is a thread ongoing about them. I don't know the difference except the obvious colour difference. The latest one has a silver colour which is very light and airy and the orange sleeping pods look very fetching!

They were the same price when I bought mine, but I would certainly give it some thought for the saving (but still probably go for the '07

It may be worth you having a look through this thread for more info. I have recently bought this tent and think its brilliant value for money. I have the 2007 version but I am sure there isnt much difference.

Thanks all, for the advice, what about Gelert tahoma 9 man, I've also seen that for £199 and am stuck between the two! This Auckland is very drafty and has seen better days, but you get what you pay for..
